Overview

With the removal of its gas engine, the Fit EV loses everything we love about that car and replaces it with a higher price tag and 82-mile range. You can’t buy this car—you can only lease it—and it’s available in a limited number of states. On the plus side, Honda keeps it simple with one trim level and one color combination. Without its zippy gas engine, its nimble handling, and less interior roominess, though, we can’t help feeling a certain sense of loss—in every sense of the word.
