Overview

Honda’s upcoming 0-series electric lineup will be headlined by the aerodynamic-looking 0 SUV. The swept-back windshield and blocky rear end look cool, and this bold design is especially surprising given that this is a Honda. We haven’t heard much about the 0 SUV’s powertrain or battery tech, but we did drive a prototype EV in Japan that’s said to be representative of what we can expect when the 0-series models (there’s also a sedan coming) finally reach production. Rear- and all-wheel-drive arrangements are both likely and a battery large enough to enable a 300-mile range is planned. Honda debuted the 0 SUV concept at the 2025 CES technology show in Las Vegas, where it boasted about the EV’s advanced tech features, including claimed Level 3 autonomous driving and a next-gen operating system called ASIMO OS.

What's New for 2027?

The 0 SUV will be an all-new model for the Honda brand and it’s expected to reach production sometime in 2026, likely as a 2027 model.

Pricing and Which One to Buy

    Honda hasn’t released any information on the 0 SUV’s pricing or trims, but we think a starting price of $50,000 would be a smart target given the crossover’s intended competition. Those rivals will include the Ford Mustang Mach-E, the Hyundai Ioniq 5, and the refreshed Tesla Model Y.
