VinFast

VinFast is a newcomer to the global market. This Vietnamese automaker, with headquarters in Singapore, has quickly expanded its production from electric scooters to SUVs, and its ambitions have grown as quickly as the size of its products: it has purchased more than 2000 acres of land in Chatham County, North Carolina, where it plans to construct a Stateside factory. The company sells a two-row fully-electric SUV dubbed the VF8 and a larger three-row version, the VF9, here in the United States. A pair of smaller SUVs—the VF6 and VF7—is reportedly in the works.
