The Vantrue E1 Pro is our Best Value pick in our comprehensive dash-cam review roundup, pairing true 4K/30 video from a Starvis 2 sensor in a tiny cube form factor that hides neatly behind the mirror.

In our testing, footage skewed slightly saturated but held on to dynamic range, keeping plates and signage readable in bright sun and at night. This was backed up by solid results in our license-plate comparison chart.

A magnetic mount, included CPL filter, 5-GHz Wi-Fi app, built-in GPS, 24/7 buffered parking (with an optional hardwire kit), and support for up to a 1-TB card make it a small but seriously capable single-channel cam.

In our dash-cam test, the Vantrue N5S became our go-to four-channel choice, effectively turning the car into rolling 360-degree surveillance. Four Starvis 2 sensors (2.7K front, 1440p rear, plus dual 1080p cabin views) gave consistently balanced exposure and cleaner-than-average night footage in our license-plate comparison charts.

The trade-off is complexity (more cables and a higher price), but you get 10-second buffered parking capture, GPS logging, Wi-Fi offload, and support for up to a 1-TB card for drivers who truly want everything recorded.

We previously made Vantrue's original N4 three-camera system our Best Overall pick thanks to its blend of image quality and front, inside, and rear coverage. This newer N4S keeps the same impressive capabilities and further improves upon the design with Starvis 2 sensors and PlatePix, stepping up to a 2.7K front camera plus dual 1440p cameras for the cabin and rear, along with HDR and IR night vision to better preserve plate detail after dark.

Add Wi-Fi, GPS, voice control, 24/7 parking modes, and 1-TB card support, and you get N5S-style comprehensive coverage in a simpler three-channel install that should be easier to route in most vehicles.

The S1 Pro Max is essentially Vantrue's tech-heavy flagship: dual 4K/30 front and rear cameras on Starvis 2 sensors, with PlatePix processing to boost plate clarity, wide lenses (155-degree front, 160-degree rear), and an IP67 waterproof rear unit.

On paper, it builds on the image pipeline we already liked in the E1 Pro and N5S, both of which produced sharp HDR footage and strong plate readability in our testing, then layers on ADAS and BSD alerts, 24-hour buffered parking, GPS, voice control, and fast Wi-Fi transfers.

We haven't lab-tested this specific model yet, but it's clearly aimed at drivers who want high-res coverage plus active driver-assist warnings.

Vantrue's N4 Pro S is the brand's flagship three-channel setup: 4K front, 1080p interior, and 2.5K rear, all on Sony Starvis 2 sensors with HDR and IR night vision, plus GPS, Wi-Fi, and support for 1-TB cards.

We haven't run this one through our full testing protocol yet, but our results with Vantrue's Starvis 2 cameras—specifically the E1 Pro and the N5S, which delivered sharp HDR footage and clean night performance in our plate charts—suggest similarly strong low-light detail here, just in a simpler three-lens package.
