The 2026 Mazda 3 2.5 S Premium Hatchback's interior has an upscale vibe, but the best feature is poking out of the center console.
The Mazda 3 2.5 S Premium's dash is classy and restrained, with a sticthed faux-leather covering. The door panels are covered in leatherette with French seams. It's a happy place inside.
The Mazda 3 2.5 S Premium's interior is swathed in expensive-looking upscale materials, and it feels like what you find in cars that are a class or even two above the 3's humble subcompact segment.
The S Premium trim level comes standard with contrasting leather inserts in the seats. The driver's seat is power-operated with power lumbar support, is heated, and has a memory feature.
The all-important manual shifter has an expensive-feeling sewn leather knob and brushed metal trim. Touches of bright work, including metal speaker grilles, class up the interior further.
The shifter doesn't just look good, it feels like its connected to a manual gearbox that could be in an expensive sports sedan.
We like big round analog style guages with white numerals on black backgrounds—which is just what the Mazda 3 Hatchback has. They look sporty and are easy to read.
