The Mustang Dark Horse SC is a follow-up to the Shelby GT500 in all but name, featuring a modified version of the same supercharged 5.2-liter V-8 and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The cabin doesn't stray too far from the standard Mustang Dark Horse, but it receives a few key upgrades.
The flat-bottomed, leather-wrapped steering wheel is borrowed from the Mustang GTD and features a stripe at the 12 o'clock mark.
Ford also added these anodized red buttons on the steering wheel, which match the engine start button.
For 2026, Ford is offering a Mustang Dark Horse SC Track Pack Special Edition, which gains these 3-D-printed titanium shift paddles.
There is plenty of carbon-fiber trim throughout the Mustang Dark Horse SC, serving as a reminder that you splurged for the track-ready version of Ford's pony car.
