The 2026 Kia Sportage X-Pro is dressed like an off-roader but isn't much different from the less ambitious X-Line trim.
The Sportage X-Pro is available only in the top-of-the-line Prestige trim.
Opting for the X-Pro means that you get the 187-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder and eight-speed automatic, since the hybrid models aren't available in X-Pro form.
Sportage X-Pro ground clearance is 8.3 inches—the same as all other all-wheel-drive Sportages.
The X-Pro does get a heated windshield and washer nozzles, which are unavailable on other Sportages.
The primary difference between the X-Pro and other all-wheel-drive Sportages? Its tires. The X-Pro gets BFGoodrich all-terrain rubber.
A hybrid Sportage X-Line—which offers 232 hp and an 11-mpg bump in EPA combined fuel economy that amounts to a 46 percent improvement—actually costs less than the Sportage X-Pro.
The Sportage is a fine all-around crossover, but the X-Pro is not the sweet spot on power and price.
