Ram's V-8 supertruck is back! Along with SRT badges, the resurrected TRX's supercharged engine now makes 777 horsepower, a 75-hp increase from the outgoing version. For 2027, the Ram 1500 SRT TRX also offers a Bloodshot Night Edition (pictured here) featuring a distinct two-tone appearance.
The TRX still rolls on 35-inch off-road tires, but now they're turned by a mightier supercharged 6.2-liter V-8.
Along with its horsepower rating rising from 702 to 777, the TRX's torque has climbed from 650 to 680 pound-feet.
Ram claims the all-wheel-drive TRX can hit 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 118 mph.
The truck's tailgate features a new TRX logo that includes an image of a Tyrannosaurus rex's head.
The new TRX still features a fortified chassis with a long-travel suspension that encourages high-speed off-roading.
The truck's distinctive side graphics are included with the TRX Bloodshot Night Edition, which has a black-painted upper half.
The truck's chunky Wrangler Territory AT tires are available with 18-inch beadlock-capable wheels.
Every SRT TRX has a RAM grille logo that's painted red, but only the Bloodshot Night Edition has a red hood stripe.
Compared with the regular Ram 1500 Rebel, the TRX measures six inches wider and rides two inches higher, offering 11.8 inches of ground clearance.
When the 2027 Ram 1500 SRT TRX goes on sale in the second half of this year, it will start at $102,590.
