The third generation of the Mercedes-Benz GLS-class has been plying the streets of fancier suburbs for the past six years, but let's take a closer look, shall we?
It seems like gray is a popular color choice for the GLS, and ours was Silicon Grey, a Manufaktur special-order hue.
As before, the GLS450 is powered by a turbocharged inline-six, although it now makes 375 horsepower.
It's a bit quicker than before, most notably in passing acceleration.
Fuel economy has also improved slightly, with the GLS450 now EPA rated at 24 mpg highway.
