With the new Supersports model, Bentley is introducing a version of the Continental GT that will appeal directly to driving purists. That's because the Supersports has been stripped of hybrid tech, which lets an unassisted twin-turbo V-8 power the rear axle.
The Continental GT Supersports has a distinctive look, featuring an "8" in the middle of its mesh grille.
Rear-wheel drive is the only way the Conti GT Supersports comes, which should encourage well-heeled owners to do burnouts.
The Supersports has some unique exterior details, like a front fascia that's covered in air intakes.
Along with a set of forged 22-inch wheels, the Supersports model features a fixed rear wing.
Bentley claims the Supersports will hit 62 mph in 3.7 seconds, but we think it'll be quicker than that; expect a 60-mph time of around 3.3 ticks.
The extensive use of carbon fiber is one way that Bentley tried to lower the curb weight of the Continental GT.
