The Palisade's most important upgrade for 2026 is the addition of a hybrid powertrain.
Two electric motors combine with a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four to produce 329 horsepower and 339 pound-feet of torque.
This power is welcome for two reasons. First, the 2026 Palisade is significantly heavier than before. Second, the nonhybrid V-6 lost four horsepower and 0.3 liter of displacement for 2026.
The EPA estimates an impressive 33 mpg city and 35 mpg highway from the thrift-forward front-wheel-drive Blue SEL trim.
