BMW has once again applied its CS formula to the M2, with predictably impressive results.
The new BMW M2 CS is a higher-horsepower, lighter-weight version of the brand's small sports coupe.
With 523 horsepower, the M2 CS boasts 50 more ponies than the regular M2.
The M2 CS has a claimed 188-mph top speed and should hit 60 mph in a little over three seconds.
Carbon-ceramic brakes are an $8500 option.
Unlike in the previous-generation M2 CS, the only available gearbox is an eight-speed automatic.
BMW says that various weight-saving measures make the CS up to 100 or so pounds lighter than the regular M2.
