The Alfa Romeo Tonale gets an interesting mid-cycle refresh for 2026, ditching an entire powertrain option while offering some unique lineup adjustments.
The Tonale's plug-in hybrid option is gone for 2026.
The sole remaining powertrain is the nonhybrid turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four, which makes the same 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet as before.
As in the past, the turbo four mates to a nine-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.
The front end receives the lion's share of the visual updates, with a new front fascia that slightly reduces overall length and front overhang.
The new front bumper has a much more cohesive lower end, where the air-curtain inlets better blend into the lower air dam.
