The optional charging equipment can charge at up to 11 kW, and Porsche tells us that it's up to 90 percent efficient. That means the losses compared with wired charging are negligible.

While that isn't as fast as DC fast-charging, Porsche tells us that three-quarters of its EV customers charge at home. That means using the car's 11 kW onboard charger and getting the same speeds as the wireless pad.

Along with wireless charging, the Cayenne EV gets a unique interior.

There's a new optional "Flow Display" that puts the center infotainment and passenger displays behind a single piece of glass.

The screen appears to curve downwards into the redesigned center console, and it puts vital information like navigation above the less pertinent HVAC controls.

The screens actually come into play with the wireless charging we mentioned earlier. As you approach the pad, a set of green circles appears that you must get to match to initiate charging.

We expect the full reveal of the upcoming Cayenne to happen later this year, with the model becoming available in the middle of 2026.
