The GTD is like no Mustang that has gone before. With it, Ford's everyman sports car enters supercar territory.
The Mustang GTD looks a lot different than other Mustangs.
The GTD is more than six inches wider than lesser Mustangs, and every body panel (save for the door skins) is carbon fiber.
The active rear wing is optional.
The GTD races to 100 mph in 6.1 seconds.
We also measured 1.17 g's of lateral grip.
