Mercedes-Benz has revealed the 2027 GLC with EQ Technology. The new electric variant of the bestselling GLC SUV arrives riding on a dedicated EV platform. There are two powertrains to choose from and plenty of design cues that make it clear this is still a GLC.
Mercedes-Benz has pulled back the covers on the new GLC-class EV.
It's built on the Mercedes MB.EA platform and measures five inches longer than the gas version.
The star of the show sits at the front of the car, where Mercedes placed the redesigned matrix grille.
While it'll cost extra, the matrix grille is made using 942 backlit dots—the Mercedes star and the surrounding trim are also backlit.
The sheetmetal is all new, though the design is still immediately recognizable as a GLC.

The GLC EV is launching with two trim levels.
The first, a dual-motor version with all-wheel drive, will arrive in late 2026.
The second, a single-motor version with rear-drive, will arrive in early 2027.
