Revisions to the EQS sedan attempt to make it a little less blob-like and a little more Benz-like.
The first thing you notice about the revised EQS is that the front end now wears something akin to a traditional Mercedes-Benz grille, and there's even a stand-up hood ornament.
The long-wheelbase proportions, stretched cabin, and bobbed trunk are all still there, however.
The EQS450 is the base version, and it makes 355 horsepower, whether it's propelled by a single rear motor or dual motors, as in the case of our test car.
Despite the relatively unimpressive horsepower number, the EQS450 accelerates to 60 mph in a fairly brisk 4.7 seconds.
In our real-world highway range test, the EQS450 4Matic managed 400 miles.
