The Porsche Macan Electric lineup ratchets up the base price compared to its gas-fed counterparts, but there's also a lot to like in here.
The model you see here is the Macan 4S, the sportiest of the three we tested.
The Macan 4S has two electric motors, one at each end, delivering a combined 509 horsepower and 604 pound-feet of torque.
The 4S is mechanically similar to the less powerful Macan 4, just with a beefier rear motor.
At our test track, the Macan 4S rocketed to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, hustling through the quarter-mile in 12.0 seconds at 117 mph.
With 0.98 g of skidpad stick, the 4S is also the grippiest of the three Macan EV variants we tested.
