The Bentley EXP 15 concept pairs its stately exterior styling with a luxurious and futuristic cabin, one that still harkens back to the old-school luxury that the brand is known for.
The EXP 15 features an unusual three-door and three-seat layout, with the passenger-side seat capable of sliding fore and aft and swiveling 45 degrees to ease ingress and egress.
Bentley also envisions the open floor ahead of the seat as a perfect place for pets and hand luggage that needs to be readily accessible.
The cabin mixes high-end materials, from a wool textile to 3-D-printed titanium trim and gold knurled metal on the switchgear.
The dashboard has a classic look, with two winged elements that sweep up on either side of the center console and contain large glass panes.
This glass surface can display the digital interface, with a touchscreen in the center, or it can be rendered clear to unveil a wood veneer trim behind.
Behind the center screen sits the "Mechanical Marvel," a light-up physical dial that can be used to communicate information such as the direction of travel or state of charge.
While most functions are controlled through the screen, there are still phsyical dials and knobs on the center consle and steering wheel for features like the climate control.
The trunk can be transformed into a picnic setup, with a pair of cushions, a glowing lamp, and a fridge for your drinks.
The EXP 15 will remain a concept, but some styling cues could appear on the brand's first EV that will be unveiled next year.
