Nissan has added a new NISMO variant to the Armada lineup for the 2026 model year, which gets eye-catching styling and more power. It should feel a little sportier to drive too.
The Armada NISMO features confident styling, with a body kit that includes a front splitter, sculpted side skirts, and a rear diffuser.
The redesigned bumpers make the NISMO variant sit 0.7 inch lower than other Armadas, with a minimum ground clearance of 8.9 inches.
Red accents adorn the body, appearing on the splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, D-pillar, and sideview mirrors.
The NISMO model is still powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6, like other Armadas, but Nissan boosted output to 460 horsepower (35 more than the standard engine).
Most of the extra oomph came via reprogramming the engine's software, but Nissan also fitted the NISMO with a unique exhaust.
The Armada NISMO rides on a special set of 22-inch forged wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Alenza Sport A/S Enliten all-season tires.
Nissan says that it retuned the adjustable air suspension and the power steering to make the Armada NISMO more agile and engaging to drive.
The sporty Armada wears its NISMO badges front and center, with one in the grille and one in the middle of the rear diffuser.
There are two exclusive colors for the punchier Armada: NISMO Stealth Gray and Black Diamond Pearl, with the former also offered with the choice of a black roof.
The 2026 Armada NISMO goes on sale this fall and should start at over $70,000.
