The Kia EV6 GT receives some performance upgrades for 2025.
Kia's battery-powered hot rod is hotter for 2025 and borrows some party tricks from its Hyundai Ioniq 5 N cousin.
Max output increases to 641 horses and 568 pound-feet in GT mode. That's up from 576 horsepower and 545 pound-feet of torque last year.
The extra oomph doesn't really manifest itself until you get beyond 70 mph, so the 60-mph time is unchanged at 3.2 seconds—still very speedy.
A new Virtual Gear Shift mode brings the ability to simulate an internal-combustion engine and a paddle-shifted automatic transmission.
The EV6 GT also includes adaptive dampers, and we measured 0.90 g of lateral acceleration.
