Cadillac is giving another EV its V-Series performance treatment, and this time it's the 2026 Optiq-V. The hotter version of the compact SUV has more power, a retuned suspension, and a sportier look.
The 2026 Optiq-V is the newest Caddy to get the V-Series treatment.
First and foremost among its changes, the Optiq-V now produces 519 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque in its spiciest Velocity Max drive mode.
Power jumps by 79 horses and 152 pound-feet over the standard 2026 Optiq AWD's output—though it's still shy of the Lyriq-V's 615-hp figure.
The Optiq-V is the first EV from General Motors to come with a native NACS port. An attachment will allow you to use a CCS plug.
The sportier Optiq-V also gets quicker steering, significantly firmed-up suspension tuning, six-piston Brembo front brakes, and optional summer tires.
Bright blue accents are splashed throughout the Optiq-V's cabin. The optional Santorini Blue Interior package, shown here, adds blue front seatbacks and matching seatbelts.
The 85-kWh battery in the V is good for an EPA-estimated 278 miles of range on the car's standard all-season rubber. It's 250 miles on the optional summer tires.
The rear bumper of the Optiq-V is distinguished by a diffuser-like trim panel.
An optional carbon-fiber package dresses up several trim pieces, including the rear spoiler.
This design in the rear-quarter glass gives the Optiq-V a distinctive look. It echoes the design of the V badges that are affixed to the lower rear doors and liftgate.
You can option the the standard Brembo six-piston front calipers in either blue or red.
The Optiq-V starts at $68,795.
