Morgan's moves are usually measured in geological eras, but the new Supersport flagship remedies that with a solid blend of old and new.
There may still be a hand-planed ash frame under there, but the Morgan Supersport has plenty of new tech under the hood (or bonnet) as well.
The Supersport gets its motivation from a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six producing 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque.
Morgan claims the Supersport weighs under 2600 pounds and rockets to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds.
The Supersport's bonded aluminum chassis is said to boost structural rigidity by 10 percent, increasing by another 10 percent if the buyer attaches the carbon-fiber hardtop.
Sadly, the Morgan Supersport will remain forbidden fruit, as the company has no plans to bring this car stateside.
