The Posche Macan Turbo EV is not turbocharged, but this top-dog version of the new battery-powered Macan is indeed quick.
In Porsche's electric Macan lineup, the Macan Turbo sits in the top spot with 630 horsepower.
In our testing, the Macan Turbo EV blasted to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds. That's more than half-a-second quicker than the previous gas-powered Macan Turbo.
Similarly, the electric Macan Turbo's quarter-mile sprint of 11.1 seconds at 124 mph puts its gas-powered counterpart on the trailer.
EPA range is 288 miles.
Pricing for the new Macan Turbo EV starts at $106,950, but our test example topped $130K with options.
