The PV5 will be offered in three main variants—the Passenger, Cargo, and Chassis Cab—with the latter supporting a vast list of upfits.

Kia will also sell a wheelchair-accessible variant with a side-loading ramp that can support over 600 pounds and a universal belt fastening system meant to hold any wheelchair in place.

The PV5 measures 184.8 inches long in the Passenger configuration, making it a bit longer than the compact vans sold in America like the Ford Transit Connect.

The PV5 will come with three battery choices, with the choice of a 51.5-kWh or a 71.2-kWh battery using a nickel-manganese-cobalt chemistry. The Cargo model will also offer a 43.3-kWh unit with a lithium-iron-phosphate chemistry.

A single front-mounted electric motor ekes out 161 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque.

Kia claims a maximum range of 248 miles on the European WLTP test cycle, which translates to around 211 miles on America's EPA cycle.

The cabin looks modern and features a 7.0-inch gauge cluster and a 12.9-inch infotainment screen running an Android Automotive–based operating system.

Sales will kick off in the second half of this year in Europe and South Korea, but it seems unlikely that the PV5 will come stateside.
