The 1982 Eldorado Touring Coupe loses a lot of chrome and gains some starch in its suspension, but front-wheel-drive and 125 horsepower do not make for a compelling sports coupe.

As David E said, the Eldorado yearned for a 1969 powertrain. This 4.1-liter V-8 made 125 hp and 190 lb-ft of torque.
The 225/70R-15 tires do help the look.
Cadillac can't quite relinquish tail fins, and that's OK.
