For 2025, the winged Porsche 911 GT3 and wingless GT3 Touring get updates to carry them through the second half of the 992 generation (992.2). The flat-six still makes 502 hp and screams to 9000 rpm, the suspension gains an additional inch of travel, and there are a number of new lightweight options. And a back seat is available for the first time on the Touring.
Exterior changes are minor, but the front and rear fascias are slightly tweaked and there are no longer auxiliary lights at the front.
The carbon-fiber endplates on the rear wing are part of the newly available $19,330 Weissach package, which also includes a carbon-fiber roof and rear anti-roll bar and shear plate to save 11 pounds.
Weissach-package cars also get a center stripe showing off the carbon-fiber underneath the paint.
Here a GT3 is using all of its newfound suspension travel and then some.
The front suspension gets aerodynamically shaped front control arms that direct air into the wheel well. Also, the forward suspension mounting point is lower, creating an anti-dive effect under braking.
These standard forged-aluminum wheels are just over three pounds lighter in total than before thanks to the new cutouts surrounding the hub.
These are the magnesium wheels, which are 20 pounds lighter than the standard rollers. They're a $16,820 option on the GT3 and part of the $36,010 Lightweight package on the GT3 Touring.
Gearing is shorter and torque is down by 15 pound-feet, but the sound is the same.
