Tesla's revised Model Y has first broken cover for the China market. Here's every angle we have so far of the exterior.
Our spy photographer caught the Model Y Juniper in testing in early January, and we surmised it would get some of the same changes as the Model 3 sedan, such as a sleeker front end. That appears to have happened.
The front bumper has been smoothed out with the headlights now forming a thing lightbar that stretches across the hood.
The back end of the car gets a similar treatment with taillights that stretch the full width of the Model Y's hatchback.
There's no mention of it on Tesla's website, but we imagine the Model Y received the same material upgrades as the recently refreshed Model 3.
We can confirm that in the Model 3, the improved material quality makes a big difference to the consumer experience.
Interestingly, there's no sign of the Performance trim onTesla's China consumer website, but with how popular that model is in the United States, we think it will stick around.
The 2025 Model Y's North American debut is imminent, so check back here for updated pictures in the next few months.
