Honda is moving forward with its 0 Series electric vehicles, revealing a pair of prototype vehicles previewing a sleek sedan-like car and a taller SUV that are due to hit the roads in 2026. The prototypes, revealed at CES in Las Vegas, follow Honda's Saloon concept from CES 2024.
The two 0 Series vehicles will ride on the same platform, packing a thin lithium-ion battery that Honda aims to be capable of a 300-mile EPA-rated range.
The 0 SUV will arrive first, set to enter production in the first half of 2026.
The 0 SUV features a two-tone look with a blacked-out roof and a blocky D-pillar.
The rear end is characterized by an incredibly narrow rear windshield and a U-shaped taillight.
Both cars feature glass roofs, creating an open and airy cabin feel.
The 0 Saloon will go into production in late 2026, and both vehicles will be built in Ohio at Honda's EV Hub.
The 0 Saloon features the same sleek, wedge shape as last year's concept but the details have been tweaked for the transition to prototype form.
The headlights are larger than before and feature a retracting cover, while the taillights retain the repeating oval motif.
The cabin is dominated by screens, with a total of five displays spanning the entire width of the dashboard.
The 0 SUV and 0 Saloon will also be the first vehicles to feature a new operating system called ASIMO OS, named after Honda's humanoid robot that it debuted way back in 2000.
