Our dog transport vehicles were all on loan from various manufacturers who didn't mind us getting dog hair in the upholstery. Next year we should do all-black Escalades so the pups feel like VIPs.

While the younger dogs were skittish, the older rescues, like Gracie, really bonded with the volunteers.
The actual dogs didn't take up much room; it was all the food and toys and cleaning supplies to keep them safe and comfortable.

Different states have different rescue needs, often depending on popular hunting or sporting breeds in the area. Moving dogs from a crowded shelter situation to an open one means more homes for all the strays.
