What amounts to a major refresh brings a fresh look and new powertrain to the 2025 Nissan Murano.
The Murano's new exterior features a front fascia with integrated daytime running lights and LED headlights, wrapped in an overall design that's much more modern.
The split C-pillar, accented by a flowing arch of trim, provides a floating-roof look.
Out back, the LED taillights are linked with an illuminated bar, and the wiper arm is cleverly tucked away beneath the roof's overhang.
The SV and SL trims ride on 20-inch wheels. Moving up to the Platinum unlocks 21-inchers.
The old 3.5-liter V-6 and dreaded CVT gearbox have been replaced with a turbocharged variable-compression 2.0-liter four and a nine-speed automatic.
The VC-Turbo's 241 horsepower is down 19 to the former engine, but its 260 pound-feet of torque is up by 20. You win some, you lose some.
Only the base SV is offered with front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive can be optioned for $1000. It's standard everywhere else in the lineup.
