The 2025 Chevy Blazer EV aims to put a more affordable Ultium-based option in people's driveways.
If you like having a choice of powertrains, the Blazer EV bests its Honda Prologue platform-mate, offering high-zoot RS and SS options in addition to its more pedestrian versions.
Both the Blazer EV and Honda Prologue rely on an 85.0-kWh GM Ultium battery pack, although rear-wheel-drive Blazer RS and all-wheel-drive SS variants get a larger pack.
With the standard battery, Chevy claims the Blazer can pull up to 150 kilowatts at a DC fast-charger, same as the Honda.
The 2025 Blazer EV's single-motor, front-drive base model comes in at $45,995, which at the time of writing is less than you'd have to spend for a base 2024 Prologue ($48,795).
Both vehicles are eligible for the full $7500 federal tax credit, whether they're purchased or leased, although qualifying Hondas require a build date after February 26, 2024.
If you like your design on the expressive side, the Blazer EV's cabin is a bit more aggressive than the Honda's.
