While it's not exactly the MG you might remember, the MG4 EV is a reasonable, affordable electric hatchback that holds its own when chucked around.
MG has been a Chinese-owned venture since 2005, and its latest product is this: the MG4 EV.
You're not going to find any MGB influences here, sadly; it's a pretty standard electric hatchback.
The interior keeps things pretty normal too. But it's working, because the MG4 is one of the bestselling EVs in Europe.
Just make sure you find the setting that disables the less-than-competent lane-keeping assistant.
While performance isn't its reason for being, the MG4 can hold its own in a corner.
