The 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT43 joins the mightier GT55 and GT63 coupes. After those two models were redesigned for 2024, Mercedes added the new base model for 2025. The GT43 has a 416-hp turbo four and rear-wheel drive.
After redesigning the AMG GT Coupe in 2024, Mercedes added a new GT43 base variant for 2025.
The GT43 is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that makes 416 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque.
Unlike the more powerful GT55 and GT63 variants, which have all-wheel drive, the GT43 sends its power exclusively to the rear axle.
According to Mercedes, the GT43 can go from zero to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
The GT43's aero assistance includes a front fascia with a hidden louver system to reduce drag.
Depending on the driving situation, the rear spoiler has five positions above 50 mph to optimize stability or reduce drag.
Mercedes says the GT43 will begin arriving at dealerships in the fall of 2024.
Pricing for the base model will start at $107,050.
That starting price makes the GT43 more than $30,000 less expensive than its closest stablemate, with the GT55 starting at $138,700.
