The 2025 Ford Expedition is the first time the off-road-focused Tremor treatment has been offered on a Ford SUV. It's similar to the previous Timberline model, but there are some differences.
The Tremor can be identified by its orange exterior accents, as seen on its front tow hooks and wheel pockets.
The Tremor version of the Expedition is offered in both long and short wheelbases
It's powered by a 440-hp twin-turbo V-6, which mates to a 10-speed automatic and four-wheel drive.
These LED lights built into the grille are part of the Tremor treatment.
These 33-inch General Grabber all-terrain tires are slightly taller than the Goodyears worn by the outgoing Timberline trim.
The Tremor has a taller ride height than other Expeditions and 10.6 inches of ground clearance.
It gets its sturdy side steps and sizable front skid plate from the F-150 Raptor.
Its new split-folding liftgate has an upper and lower section, and the bottom can be turned into a bench.
Ford hasn't released a price for the Expedition Tremor, but we expect it to exceed $74K when it goes on sale next spring.
