The 2025 Porsche Taycan Turbo GT arrives as the electric sports sedan's most powerful model, meaning it's the most expensive too. All that money and power provide record-breaking performance, though, as it's the quickest car Car and Driver has ever tested.
The Taycan Turbo GT packs a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain that produces up to 1092 horsepower.
In our testing, the Taycan Turbo GT hit 60 mph in an astonishing 1.9 seconds.
The Taycan's dashboard is overrun with displays, from the curved screen in front of the driver to one specifically for the passenger.
We were pressed into these seatbacks as the Turbo GT cleared the quarter-mile in 9.3 seconds at 150 mph.
Our test car was fitted with the stickier Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS tires that are optional.
An available Weissach package is claimed to shave 165 pounds, but our 5203-pound test car skipped that option.
With the Weissach package, we think the Taycan Turbo GT will be even quicker, possibly hitting 60 mph in 1.8 seconds.
