Hyundai updated the Sonata mid-size sedan for 2024, and the quite noticeable visual changes inside and out apply to every model in the lineup. That includes the hybrid variant, which gets the new look but no changes to its gas-electric powertrain.
The 2024 Hyundai Sonata has a new look with futuristic-looking headlights and cleaner lines.
The hybrid version is one of three powertrain options, the others being either a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter inline-four or a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four in the N Line.
The rear end also incorporates new taillights and a different bumper than before.
The hybrid powertrain hasn't changed since this generation of Sonata first arrived for 2020.
The hybrid setup incorporates a 2.0-liter gasoline engine.
Combined output sits at 192 horsepower.
Power routes through a six-speed automatic transmission.
The interior features a new steering wheel and a revised dashboard with new display screens.
We like the look of the brown leather interior available in the Limited trim.
The digital gauge cluster and central infotainment screen are housed under the same curved display.
