The new Maserati GranCabrio arrives as an open-topped counterpart to the GranTurismo coupe. Like its sibling, it's available either with a twin-turbo V-6 engine or as a fully battery-electric model.
The 2024 Maserati GranCabrio Trofeo (left) is the ICE version, and the 2025 Maserati GranCabrio Folgore (right) is the EV model.
The GranCabrio Folgore features a trio of electric motors that make a total of 818 horsepower.
Maserati puts the GranCabrio Folgore's 60-mph time at 2.7 seconds. EPA range is estimated at 233 miles.
The GranCabrio Trofeo's twin-turbo V-6 makes 542 horsepower, which is sent to all four wheels via a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission.
For the GranCabrio Trofeo, Maserati says to expect a 3.4-second sprint to 60 mph.
The GranCabrio interior is richly finished.
The GranCabrio Folgore is available with recycled nylon fabric (Econyl) seat inserts.
The rear seats can accommodate average-size adults—provided the front seats aren't moved all the way back.
The dash goes touchscreen wild: There's one for instrumentation, a main 12.3-inch infotainment display, and a supplemental 8.8-inch angled one below that. Unfortunately, there's a dearth of physical switchgear.
The clock at the center of the dash presents as an analog timepiece, but it's actually a digital representation and can display other information as well.
The 2024 Maserati GranCabrio Trofeo goes on sale this summer.
The 2025 Maserati GranCabrio Folgore arrives in showrooms this fall.
