The 2024 Nissan GT-R will be the final model year of the R35 generation that's sold in the U.S. market. To say goodbye to its iconic sports car (a.k.a. Godzilla), Nissan will offer these Skyline and T-spec Takumi editions in very limited quantities.
The 2024 Nissan GT-R T-spec Takumi Edition (front) and Skyline Edition (back) commemorate the model's 17-year production run.
The Takumi honors the craftspeople who hand-built the GT-R's engine, and the Skyline brings the Japanese model name stateside.
Limited to fewer than 200 copies, the Skyline and Takumi will reach U.S. dealers this summer priced at $133K and $153K, respectively.
The Skyline wears this beautiful blue paint called Bayside Blue, which returned to the U.S. lineup on the 50th Anniversary Edition.
It's hard not to tear up as we watch the R35 GT-R race away to its grave, but at least we'll always have the memories.
Inside, the GT-R Skyline Edition has this spectacular upholstery color called Sora Blue.
Unlike the Skyline, the T-spec Takumi Edition comes with upgraded equipment and this color-changing Midnight Purple paint job.
Along with a gold VIN plate, the T-spec features a red-etched badge on its twin-turbo 3.8-liter V-6, in honor of the takumi craftspeople.
The Takumi's interior comes with an attractive color scheme called Mori Green.
