The swollen rear fenders accommodate the 3.0-inch-wider rear track, compared to the CLE300 and CLE450. The front fenders are similarly reshaped, stretched over a front track that's 2.3 inches wider than lesser models'.

The CLE53 coupe has an AMG-specific vertical-bar grille and an enlarged lower air intake.
