Honda is fighting hydrogen range anxiety with a rechargeable battery in the conventional-looking CR-V e:FCEV.
The 17.7-kWh battery adds 29 miles of battery-electric range to the fuel cell's 241.
Honda's fuel-cell CR-V also includes an electric charge port to help get you to the next hydrogen station.
The e:FCEV interior is familiar CR-V, with just a handful of changes, including shift buttons in place of the lever on standard models.
Hydrogen tanks located below and behind the rear seats reduce cargo room, although passenger volume is untouched.
