This convertible version of the new GranTurismo coupe will initially be offered in Trofeo form with the 542-hp twin-turbo 3.o-liter V-6 engine.
As soon as the new Maserati GranTurismo landed, we knew a GranCabrio variant couldn't be far behind. The convertible version of the sports car has now arrived, and it looks as good without a roof as the coupe does.
The GranCabrio is a four-seat convertible that rides on the same platform as the GranTurismo.
It will initially be offered only in Trofeo high-performance trim.
The Trofeo comes with a 542-hp version of Maserati's twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6, called "Nettuno."
We're not sure whether Maserati is planning an electric Folgore version of the convertible, but it could happen soon.
The interior is carried over from the coupe, but there are a few convertible-specific add-ons.
A neck warming function blows hot air from the front seats, and there's a detachable wind deflector that mounts over the rear seats.
The GranCabrio weighs more than the coupe, so expect performance to be slightly worse.
