The Sapphire is the most powerful version of the Lucid Air EV, with three electric motors and an unbelievable 1234 horsepower.
The new Sapphire sits at the top of the Lucid Air lineup.
The Sapphire's 1234 horsepower stands well above the Air Grand Touring's 819 horsepower. The Sapphire also makes 1430 pound-feet of torque.
In our testing, the Lucid Air Sapphire reached 60 mph in 2.1 seconds.
A 118.0-kWh battery pack feeds the three motors.

The Sapphire interior features dark-gray Alcantara with bright-blue stitching. The seats have more lateral bolstering than other Air models.
All Air models rely extensively on the touchscreen and have minimal switchgear.
In addition to Smooth, Swift, Sapphire, and Track, other drive modes include Endurance, Hot Lap, and Dragstrip.
The Sapphire comes exclusively in dark blue.
