The Lexus UX250h is the brand's smallest and least expensive model. It's now offered solely as a hybrid but is newly available with front-wheel drive as well as the previously offered all-wheel drive.
The Lexus UX made its debut for the 2019 model year as the brand's smallest and least expensive offering.
Last year Lexus jettisoned the base four-cylinder powertrain, leaving only the four-cylinder hybrid. As a result, all models now carry the UX250h designation.
The UX250h makes a combined 181 horsepower, which in our testing resulted in an 8.2-second 60-mph time.
The UX250h is available with front- or all-wheel drive. Our front-drive test car averaged 35 mpg, against an EPA combined estimate of 42 mpg.
A small footprint makes the UX250h highly maneuverable in city driving.
Rear-seat space is at a premium, however, and the cargo hold is small.
The infotainment system is now touchscreen operated; the Lexus remote touchpad has been broomed.
Pricing for the 2024 Lexus UX250h starts at $36,690.
Our Premium test car cost $39,150 before options. The F Sport Handling AWD is the top trim at $45,520 to start.
