The K5 mid-size sedan receives an update with new styling, a different base powertrain, and other upgrades.
Kia is refreshing the K5 mid-size sedan with a new look and a new base engine. There are also a few changes to the interior, along with new features including a wireless smartphone charging pad.
The 2025 K5 now comes standard with a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine.
This base engine replaces the previous turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four.
The new 191-hp engine produces more power but less torque than before.
The top GT model still has a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four with 290 horsepower.
All-wheel drive is optional, but only with the base naturally aspirated engine.
