The GTI's new face includes revised headlights and a different front bumper.
The LED headlight units are ever so slightly modified from before, but you might not be able to see the difference on first glance.
New wheel designs include sizes up to 19 inches.
There are four new colors available: two blues, one silver, and one black.
The LED taillights are a bit different too.
VW has coaxed a bit of extra power out of the turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four, which is up to 262 hp.
The touchscreen is larger, and it uses VW's updated MIB4 software.
The steering wheel now has real buttons instead of touch-sensitive ones.
There's no more six-speed manual offered, and the only transmission is a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
