The Chevy Suburban is the longest-running automotive nameplate, and for 2025, the full-size three-row SUV has been updated with a major interior overhaul and a more powerful diesel engine.
The exterior changes are minor, with reoriented headlights that shift the main unit lower in the bumper and sport piercing LED daytime running lights.
A redesigned dashboard is dominated by a new standard 17.7-inch touchscreen that is angled slightly towards the driver.
There is also a standard 11-inch digital gauge cluster as well as a new steering wheel design.
Chevy also simplified the array of buttons below the screen, thankfully retaining physical knobs for the climate-control system.
The 2025 Suburban has new towing technologies, including a monitor that tracks the status of the tires on the trailer and navigation geared specifically towards towing.
For the first time, the Suburban offers 24-inch wheels, available on the RST and High Country trims.
Under the skin, the Suburban gains an updated version of the 3.0-liter turbodiesel that now produces 305 hp and 495 pound-feet of torque.
The 2025 Suburban will go on sale late next year.
