For the second time since 1998, we decided to gather a dozen cars from across the price and performance spectrums and put them to the test. What do they have in common? All of them will do more than 150 mph, making them eligible for the 0-to-150-to-0 contest. It's a contest of horsepower, brakes, traction, gearing, and aero—not to mention driver-friendliness, since we didn't splice together a car's best acceleration or braking from different runs. Take a look. You can almost smell the brakes.
