In place of a turbocharged V-8, the Bentley Bentayga Hybrid combines a V-6 engine and an electric motor.
The Bentley Bentayga Hybrid can't quite equal the power output of its siblings' twin-turbo V-8, which can produce up to 542 horsepower.
In our testing, the Bentley Bentayga Azure Hybrid hit 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and completed the quarter-mile in 13.0 seconds at 107 mph.
The Bentayga Hybrid is EPA rated at 23 miles of EV range. We managed 28 miles in mixed driving.
We were somewhat disappointed, however, by the Bentayga Hybrid's ride quality.
Subjectively, our test car's blacked-out grille and black wheels diminished some of the expected glamour from this high-dollar SUV.
As tested, our 2023 Bentley Bentayga Azure Hybrid stickered for $273,095.
The Bentayga's V-8 models are a few thousand dollars dearer still.
