The LED display shows your state of charge, speed, riding mode, and headlight status. And it has a built-in light sensor to control the headlight.

The Motocampacto doesn't have a horn, but it does have a neat little bell. The lever is for the rear drum brake, which is the only brake.

Unlike on a full-size motorcycle or scooter, you don't twist the Motocompacto's synthetic-leather grip to get moving. Instead you press down on a pad with your thumb.

The Motocompacto's charging port is right below the headlight. And like the rest of the scooter, it's IPX4 (water resistant) rated.

There's no suspension on the Motocompacto, but it nevertheless rides well on racetrack pavement. Fair warning, the scooter has a 265-pound weight limit.

Learning how to unfold the Motocompacto takes a bit of time. Luckily, Honda included some handy instructions.

As you can see in this clear-skinned version, even with the charger onboard, the Motocompacto has some storage space. At 18.1 inches long, 3.1 inches wide, and 9.3 inches deep, the storage area is not big, but Honda says a small laptop should fit.

Whether vertical or horizontal, the Honda Motocompacto fits easily into the back of a hatchback like our long-term Volkswagen GTI.
